I am part of a non-profit organization called All Paws Rescue, which was established in 2013 with the mission of providing shelter, medical care, and rehoming services to stray, sick, and unwanted cats and kittens. In my spare time, I volunteer at a local branch of All Paws Rescue, where I hold the important role of a "cat cuddler." While it may sound lighthearted, this role is crucial in helping the cats adjust to their new environment and ensuring their well-being. In addition to spending quality time with the cats, I feed them, change their water, and clean their litter. This role has instilled a deep sense of responsibility in me.

During this year's spring break, I dedicated my time to volunteering for Camp I Can. I took on various responsibilities including setting up activities for the campers, aiding students with their math questions, and participating in the cleanup efforts after camp. This experience helped me cultivate a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and effective time management skills.
During the Alloa Fun Fair, I was in charge of supervising the children's bouncy castle along with my friend. My responsibility was to collect 4 tickets from each child and ensure that no child entered the bouncy castle wearing a hat, necklace, glasses, or shoes to maintain cleanliness and prevent any incidents. After the fair, I helped clean up the litter on the field and put away the chairs and tables. This experience helped me develop a stronger sense of responsibility.
I took on a new responsibility at the beginning of the semester to make announcements with the Tuesday and Thursday group. As part of this role, I need to go to the main office at the beginning of period 2 and help announce all the announcements precisely at 10:21 am. I need to speak clearly and at a steady pace, while also maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm when required. This responsibility has helped me improve my verbal communication skills.
Last semester, at the pharmacy, my daily workload consisted of helping customers at pick-up, procuring drugs from the stock for the pharmacy technician, scanning patient documents, and restocking shelves. Through my placement, I have learned how hard it is to work in a field heavily based on customer service as I encountered countless rude customers daily. These encounters will act as a constant reminder of how important it is to be respectful towards others. Although I did not enjoy encountering rude customers, I am grateful that I got the chance to acquire the valuable skill of effectively handling customer conflicts.
