My Skills

I consider myself very skilled in creativity, organization, problem-solving, interpersonal communication, paying attention to detail, and efficiently managing my time. I always strive for precision and excellence in everything I undertake.

Application of my Skills

Anyone can claim to possess a particular skill set without demonstrating any real-life application of those skills. I make use of my skills on a daily basis in my personal life through the various activities I enjoy. Here are a few examples showing how my skills are integrated into my everyday life:

Playing Guitar

Playing the guitar and piano serves as my creative outlet. I take pleasure in playing music and take on the challenge of learning to play songs by ear. The process is difficult and full of errors but when I finally figure it out, I feel proud and satisfied. This hobby continually puts my problem-solving, learning, and creative skills to the test. Essentially, playing guitar enhances my cognitive functions.

Knitting

When people think of knitting, they often associate it with a feeling of calmness, as it appears to be a peaceful activity. While knitting is indeed peaceful, many people fail to acknowledge that it is also excellent for maintaining and improving cognitive functions, including concentration, memory, problem-solving skills, and learning skills. This is due to how intense it is to adapt to knitting new patterns, the patience it takes to knit for hours on end, and how you have to memorize the pattern of what you are creating. Therefore, knitting represents my fast learning, concentration, and problem-solving abilities.

Origami/Paper crafts

Creating crafts with paper is by far one of my favorite activities to do. It has soothing properties and allows me to cope with stress while simultaneously putting my creativity, fast learning, precision, and other cognitive skills to use. This activity serves as an example of my fast-learning skills and my ability to think outside of the box.
