My core essence has remained unchanged. When asked to describe myself, I consistently portray myself as an ambitious individual with a strong eye for detail, unwavering in my academic pursuits, and possessing a relentless passion for learning.

Who am I?

What I Learned About Myself Through the “Who am I?” Unit

In the "Who am I?" unit, I took several self-assessment tests to discover and understand my learning styles, top skills, abilities, potential career paths, personality type, and more. I have chosen to display three self-test results that I think most accurately represent who I am.

Myers Briggs Personality Test

Through the Myers Briggs Personality Test, I discovered that I have the INFJ-A personality type. People with this personality type are described as creative, compassionate, altruistic, sensitive, and insightful people. They often have a very small social circle and pour lots of energy and care into their relationships but don’t always feel appreciated in return. People with this personality type also have many weaknesses; they are reluctant to open up, sensitive to criticism due to their perfectionism, and they are prone to burning out due to not reserving time to work on their mental wellness.

Brain Lobes Test

Upon completing the brain lobes test, I discovered that I am right-brain dominant. Individuals who are right-brained are often considered to be creative, emotional, intuitive, imaginative, compassionate, and empathetic. They are believed to excel in professions that enable them to freely express their thoughts and use their creativity, such as being an artist, writer, psychologist, or teacher.

Gardner’s Intelligence Type

Howard Gardner developed the Multiple Intelligence theory as a response to the traditional view of intelligence as a single, general ability. Instead, he proposed that there are 9 different intelligence categories that individuals can fall into. According to the test, my strongest intelligence is interpersonal intelligence. People with interpersonal intelligence can effectively understand and communicate with others. They tend to be empathetic and can grasp different perspectives easily.
